Changelog

How Weekado grows.

Weekado is built in fast, small steps, each version sharpens a detail. Here’s the path from the first prototype to today.

  1. v0.15 Aug 18, 2026 Latest

    Motion polish

Lists glide, highlights slide, and the app respects reduced motion.

    • Desktop task lists animate: rows glide into place when you complete, delete, undo, filter or move, new rows fade in
    • Gliding highlights: the hover pill in the bottom bar and the accent underline under the area filters slide instead of jumping
    • Assistant: a small pixel loader with an elapsed timer while it thinks, and executed tool calls pop in as chips
    • Honours your system’s reduced-motion setting across the app
    • The quick-add line lines up with task titles, in day columns and lists alike
  2. v0.14 Jul 2, 2026

    Deadlines & a smoother start

Tasks can carry a due date, and new accounts get a gentle first week.

    • Task deadlines: give a task a due date with a +date token in the quick-add line; it shows as a badge and overdue deadlines are surfaced
    • Deadlines survive snapshots and undo, and appear in the CSV export and the MCP tools
    • New accounts: an email-confirmation screen with resend, and a handful of example tasks that show the model (day, deadline, lists, area, inbox)
    • End of trial: an upgrade sheet instead of a dead end
    • Quick-add understands French and Spanish date words (demain, mañana, lundi …), and impossible dates like 31.2. are rejected instead of vanishing at sync
    • Keyboard: Backspace no longer deletes a selection hidden behind an open dialog; the bulk-move day chips stay correct after midnight
    • Polish: proper dialog roles and labels for screen readers, ⌘/Ctrl adapts to your platform, renamed lists show their name in search and task detail, pinch zoom re-enabled
  3. v0.13 Jun 17, 2026

Calendar feeds & a steadier desktop

Your calendars flow into the week, and the desktop board stays responsive.

    • Calendar feeds: subscribe to a Google Calendar or any iCal feed and its appointments appear in your week, kept current automatically; one-way and read-only, each feed mapped to an area, recurring and all-day events included
    • Imported appointments bring their description and location along as read-only notes
    • Imported appointments can be completed or hidden, and that sticks across every re-sync; a Calendars panel in Settings adds, pauses and syncs feeds
    • Desktop rows: click a title to rename it, the pencil button is gone
    • Desktop board no longer freezes after a lost mouse-up during a drag (the macOS “read-only” stall)
    • iPad: the bottom bar stays on screen in fullscreen
    • The in-app assistant and the MCP tools know the inbox: list it, file into it, move out of it
  4. v0.12 Jun 15, 2026

Quick capture & a tidy inbox

Catch a thought in a keystroke, sort it into your week later.

    • Inbox: a neutral spot for anything you haven’t placed yet, to triage onto a day or into a list when you plan
    • Quick capture with ⌘I: jot a task from anywhere in the app, and add an #area or a day right in the line
    • A system-wide capture hotkey on desktop: a tiny window floats in even over full-screen apps, ⌥Space by default, or set your own in Settings
    • Tidy lists: completed list tasks slide into a “Done” footer the next day (still one click away); the day view keeps them as your record
    • Desktop lists panel, rethought: every area at once, click one to filter, drag the top edge to resize
    • Smarter multi-select: move the selection to today, tomorrow, a specific day or a list
    • The 7-day view now starts with today, on the left
    • API keys now live in the system keychain on the desktop app
  5. v0.11 Jun 11, 2026

    Four languages & launch-ready

Weekado speaks your language, and the launch is prepped.

    • The whole app in four languages: English, German, French, Spanish, assistant and server included
    • Public holidays and school breaks for nine countries, region-aware
    • Billing: checkout and customer portal, on iPhone & iPad via the App Store

  7. v0.9.5 Jun 10, 2026

    • Endless forward scrolling through the days
    • Day lists adapt to the window height, with a subtle “more below” fade
    • MCP server: personal login (OAuth) for AI connections
    • iOS: preparing the TestFlight launch

    Appointments

Tasks gain a time, and live inside the day.

    • Timed appointments, right in the day between tasks
    • Start and optional end time; multiple appointments stay chronological automatically
    • Appointment back side with notes; colored by area, like tasks
    • Shown as calm context in focus mode
    • MCP: event tools (create_event, list_events …), the AI imports calendars
    • Day tasks are area-neutral by default; swipe gestures & bulk actions for appointments too
  9. v0.8 Jun 7, 2026

    Native apps, domain & AI

Weekado becomes a real app, and addressable by AI.

    • Native apps for iPhone & iPad (Capacitor) and Mac (Tauri)
    • weekado.com, app.weekado.com and mcp.weekado.com live
    • MCP server: AI apps read and write your tasks
    • PWA polish: automatic updates, update prompt, app icons
    • Native polish: status bar, real haptics, re-sync on resume
  10. v0.7 Jun 6, 2026

Focus mode, card back & undo

Depth over distraction, and context on every task.

    • Immersive focus / deep-work mode with a Pomodoro timer (25/5)
    • Card back side: Markdown description and interactive checklists
    • Undo (⌘Z) for deletes and bulk actions
    • Focus mode on phone: automatic in landscape, or tap the date

    • Phone view: a week strip plus a single day
    • Swipe gestures to change days and act on rows
    • Area picker right above the keyboard
    • Multi-select by long-press; drag tasks from lists onto days
  12. v0.5 Jun 4, 2026

    Overview & multi-select

Keep the big picture and do many things at once.

    • Overview: all areas and sections at a glance
    • Select multiple tasks: move, copy, delete
    • Paste multi-line text from the clipboard as tasks
    • An “overdue” banner pulls leftovers into today
  13. v0.4 Jun 3, 2026

    Areas, sections & #tags

    • Freely defined areas with their own color and short #tag
    • Five GTD sections per area (PRIO, NEXT, LATER, WAITING, SOMEDAY), renamable

    • Fully usable offline, real-time sync across devices
    • Light and dark themes
  16. v0.1 May 28, 2026

    The first prototype

The idea: the week, not the inbox.

    • The week view: seven days side by side, nothing else
    • Create, complete and edit tasks right in the row
    • Today highlighted, calm, minimal, fast
